Maybe he can get it down to $4.20! 🤣 #twitter #elonmusk
@taylorlorenz I know most people are unfamiliar with P&F charts, so allow me to interpret: YIIIIIIIIKES! 😳
(must click chart to appreciate)
@brucedkleinman @taylorlorenz technical trading is bunk. But still . . . Yikes!
@taylorlorenz Down 44.5% just since he bought Twitter!
@taylorlorenz I'm too dumb to know if the stock price drop is just matching the overall market or if it actually means something.
@taylorlorenz @stefan It is definitely underperforming the market by a significant amount.
@Kyleric @taylorlorenz I follow a bunch of investing bros who claim all of this tesla price movement is short term noise instead of a real long term problem and I'm like IDK guys. It's been a blue click stock and people think it will last forever.

@stefan @taylorlorenz A stock losing more than half of its value over the course of a year is not short term noise.

I think the bros you are following are going to lose a lot of money.

@Kyleric @stefan @taylorlorenz
once Powell started raising rates, Elmo's gravy train was over
@stefan @Kyleric @taylorlorenz
As someone at Lehman Brothers once said in 2007 “the good times will never stop!” 🤣
@stefan @Kyleric @taylorlorenz if my stocks portfolio included Tesla I would also try to get people to buy it again, some people get desperate when losing a lot of money
@stefan @taylorlorenz I can't answer that, but it might mean that Elon won't be called mega rich much longer and it might spell trouble since it might mean he cannot pay back his debt from his twitter purchase.
Although there is already speculation he is in talks with #Qatar to bail him out.
@stefan @taylorlorenz
If the whole market had fallen 70% in worth in a year, it would rain Brokers on Wallstreet like 1929.
@stefan
Here is a chart of TSLA compared to the Dow Jones industrial Average over the last three months.

@taylorlorenz

@snork303 @stefan @taylorlorenz

That doesn't look like 'natural economics' at play, almost as if there was a CEO man baby showing his real self on a social platform or something...

@The_ape
Maybe people just woke up to the fact that it's an ugly car.

@stefan @taylorlorenz

@snork303 @The_ape @stefan @taylorlorenz ugly, poorly produced with tons of production problems but a lot of stonk bros propping it up. But without actual customer confidence all the bros can hype all they want it’s still trash and now the ticker is showing it.

@snork303 @stefan @taylorlorenz

Yeah I test drove the S X and 3 when I was looking to change mine. Drove the BMW iX, Audi e, Merc and Jag as well.. Bought the iX in the end, as its well put together, nice 'real' interior and well, a proper car.

The S I drove had 1000miles on it and had parts of the interior rattling already, along with panel gaps you could fit your hand through.

Great drivetrain/tech, but put into terrible cars.

@The_ape @snork303 @stefan I was just talking about this BMW model with a friend last night! I’ve decided to do a hybrid first based on my own driving patterns but good to know about the iBMW. @taylorlorenz

@Kat @snork303 @stefan @taylorlorenz

Yeah I wen hybrid first, then after 18 months realised I should have gone full BEV, hense why I traded over to the iX. Never had any range issues or anything, and done trips to the continent from the UK multiple times without issue. Traveled to Paris with family in diesel vehicle, and we got there the same time, so wasn't even a time penalty on travel.

@stefan @taylorlorenz it’s relatively recent rise seems to be tied to its rapid increase in profits over the last three years. https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/TSLA/tesla/revenue
Tesla Revenue 2010-2022 | TSLA

Tesla annual/quarterly revenue history and growth rate from 2010 to 2022. @stefan @taylorlorenz
This one chart won’t tell you that. You’ll need to compare against a basket or index of other similar auto makers, most of which are down YTD but TSLA is sure leader of the pack and going down hardest and fastest.
@stefan @taylorlorenz if the market were down 69% we would be super FUCKED! TSLA has always been a scam, propped up by nothing more@ than hype and popsicle sticks.
@stefan @taylorlorenz the market is down for sure but Tesla is way down versus the market and other auto companies.
@taylorlorenz take it private at $4.20 funding secured?
@taylorlorenz jack should offer to take Tesla private for 54.20 a share
@taylorlorenz I'm loving watch Tesla tank because of his incompetence at 💩tter.
@taylorlorenz I love this for him!! Glad to know you’ll be able to see him burn

@taylorlorenz mElon boy is working real hardcore on it‼️ 😂

That’s the real reason why mElon is stepping down (LOL!) as CEO of Twitter.

Tesla shareholders are cracking the whips bc their money goes down the drain.

@taylorlorenz stunned he yet hasn't accused his shareholders of being liberal woke leftist activists who hate free speech
@taylorlorenz Some people I had read had speculated that hitting $125 would facilitate a potential hostile takeover. What price do you think will trigger that?
@JDSBlueDevl @taylorlorenz If there’s any justice, they’ll do it as a leveraged buyout.
@taylorlorenz Elon Musk, making Crypto look good.
@taylorlorenz so my question is this: he sells high in Aug-Oct or so. He creates negative environment for stock and it drops like a rock, creating a tremendous buy opportunity if you know what’s next. Hmmmm.
@taylorlorenz I think the target price is $8. $11 if you are on iPhone.
@taylorlorenz Elon's shambolic takeover of Twitter seems to have shattered his image as the invincible genius.
@taylorlorenz I respect pettiness when it’s well deserved 👏
@taylorlorenz , I can't believe I once admired Elon Musk (until he baselessly called a hero a pedo). How can a man who has invested in such great companies for humanity be such a total dickhead?
@Jonio The theme is “impressive-sounding projects that get him lots of attention”.
@taylorlorenz
Sadly, the declining share prices have little impact on the person causing it.
He's been executing slash (sell) & burn (destroy) strategy.
@taylorlorenz ~6 months ago I got in an argument with a guy that if I knew how to short stocks I'd short the heck out of Tesla. He called me an idiot. I guess I am an idiot though as I never learned how to short stocks. :(
@taylorlorenz iT's PaRt Of ElOn'S pLaN! hE'S pLaYiNg 3D cHeSs!
