@artistalley we've got a matrix chat for small instance admins too (don't have to use the relay) and a second one for relay admins. If there's anything our group of admins can do to help let us know.. @harshad @me are two of the other awesome folks about who spring to mind.

Hi, I'm Thurman and I am some owner/operator of beyond the edge woodworking. I don't sell things online. I'm strictly commission and local to the portland Oregon area, but live to share work. Will you be using pixelfed as image hosting as well? Or are images just linked?

@AstroTman If someone follows you from their Pixelfed account, they'll show up there even though you're posting from Mastodon, if that's what you mean. (Also, dang those are gorgeous, one day I'll stop chickening out of using my table saw!)

I'm experimenting with pixelfed... Having 5-6 photos linked is nice, but I'm not sure how to link them in mastodon and was hoping you might know. Lol. I think having build progress pics is interesting to show a few steps in the process.

I was thinking that it should be possible to have a mastodon post and link to pixelfed and they seamlessly show up the same as if I'd uploaded them.

Btw...woodworking is just practice so start practicing!

@AstroTman I'm not terribly familiar with exactly how Pixelfed and Mastodon work together, just that they're supposed to enable you to see posts from one in the other. Sorry!
