@BrentToderian Having heavily armed thugs bust through the ceiling the second you start espousing an view that threatens the status quo feels like a weirdly prescient metaphor for trying to discuss nuanced ideas on modern social media.

I was going to comment, “If you build it, they will come” referring to roads (it) and cars (they); but now I feel that I should be saying, “If you even talk about building it, they will come … for you” referring to mass and active transit (it) and the status quo environment destroying fascists (they).
