Thanks for the recommendation of various tools to find Twitter follows here. I used one myself. I like a good automation tool as much as anyone and they help, but aren’t a replacement for help from a friend or a personal recommendation of who to follow.

Daniel Kuney@johnvoorhees @macstories One thing that makes it hard is following others on different servers. I would normally go to a profile that I trust, see who they are following, and choose to follow many of the same people. But that can't easily be done.

@johnvoorhees @macstories apparently it’s possible to enable full-text search using elasticsearch. The instance I’m on did it. And I heard you guys happen to manage your own instance :)
@brandonhorst Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on. We've got elasticsearch enabled too. Either it's an issue with connection to struggling servers or something we need to troubleshoot on our end.
