"I grant you one wish," the magic fish said.

"To eat my mother's pancakes again, just like when I was a child."

"Are you sure?"

"You think it frivolous?"

"No. But to grant it I must send you back to the child you were, with no adult memories."

"Would my life change?"

"You ask that every time."

Today I’m launching my first-ever app, The Slate.

The Slate is the unique and easy way to keep track of upcoming movie and TV projects from your favourite actors, writers, directors, and producers. Simply add them to your favourites and see their upcoming work listed in your own personal project Slate.

You can check it out now on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/the-slate/id6758226311

I even made a video run-through!

I'm really proud of this, and I hope that if you choose to try it out, you'll find it as useful as I do.

Since its Pokémon Day, I should probably remind you that I make the nicest Pokédex app out there, Ketchup: https://apps.apple.com/ie/app/ketchup-for-pok%C3%A9mon/id6477297968

The reason I started making computer wallpapers is that I wanted clean “surfaces” that felt sufficiently in-universe for pop-culture things I love, rather than character collages that were once provided as *official* wallpapers.

Over the years, I’ve kept finding what evokes the universe that also works as actual *backgrounds*, usually with lowish contrast so they aren’t distracting.

Take a scroll. And if you have enjoyed them, consider a donation!

When megastars like Beyonce or Bad Bunny do a Super Bowl halftime show, the music and production is always incredible but they're also loaded with meaning on every level. I loved hearing about all the themes and context for what Benito was doing during the whole amazing show https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/comments/1qzrg6d/comment/o4d9j9x/

Over the past year, @Aaronvegh and I have been working on something very exciting!

We thought we’d give you a little teaser now and you can sign up to hear more very soon.

I'm happy to announce ChapterPod, an app for adding chapters to podcast files, is now available to download!

I've been using this for about 6 months behind the scenes to do all the chapters for Comfort Zone, and it's easily the best tool for the job (for me, at least).

Available for Mac, iPad, and iPhone

If you put the Apple icons in reverse it looks like the portfolio of someone getting really really good at icon design

My next app is ChapterPod, an app for podcasters who want to add chapters to their shows. It's in beta today for More Birchtree subscribers, and I expect to launch it later this month.

Introducing ChapterPod, now in beta

Well, it didn't take too long into the new year for me to announce a new app, huh? This is a pretty niche tool, so I don't expect most people to get value from it, but if you create a podcast (or two or three), then I think you're going
