Talia Greene statement on this series: “My current body of work is a continuation of an ongoing project called Precarious Balance, in which I strip birds and other fauna of their natural surroundings, a consequence of diminishing ecosystems. Extinct species, predators, and other animals intermingle in unsustainable formations. Perching on each other, and atop ruins of human habitation, their positions are suggestive of either cooperation through sacrifice, or a scramble for dominance.
