Now that #Twitter has banned many journalists, I wonder when will people finally realize that EVs are closely associated with fascism? The bigger promoter is #Musk and the second is China. And its easy to see why, because it makes a few people who control the supply of batteries very rich, while screwing over everyone else. It's basically a repeat of big oil.
We of the #hydrogen camp have repeated stated that hydrogen cars are the future, not the #EV. It's time for people to listen.
Obviously it's not the water that is the driver of high expense for hydrogen production - it's the cost to split the molecules in that water to get hydrogen out.
New methods are being researched to do that using renewables, and ultimately may make hydrogen economically viable, particularly for energy storage, aviation, etc.
Until then, BEVs are much more efficient and create far less CO2 over a vehicle's lifetime than ICE vehicles:
Life-cycle assessment of the greenhouse gas emissions of passenger cars in China, Europe, India, and the United States, which together account for about 70% of new passenger car sales worldwide.
And the cost of splitting water is rapidly approaching zero. The entire argument is a fraudulent one by EV companies. In fact, now that we know Musk is a fascist, when will people start to suspect that there are fake studies created solely to promote EVs?
Also, a hydrogen car should also be far greener than a conventional ICE vehicle. You cannot suddenly shift your target of comparison like that. #EV #BEV #FCEV
We'll, that clinches it! I'll sell my EV, and buy a hydrogen powered car.
Of course, it'll be a 5,000 mile round trip from my home to the nearest retail hydrogen fuel station, and the 'almost zero' cost hydrogen fuel will run me 24 cents a mile versus the 3 cents per mile electricity cost me for the EV.
Makes perfect sense!
You're being obtuse. In the long run, when the infrastructure is there, people will buy hydrogen cars. And the cost will be lower than owning an EV.
EV owners are just defending their current car purchases, which in the long run will just prove to be unsustainable.
