Paul Tenny@juddlegum I tried linking on Twitter to Voice of America Steve Herman's journa.host account (he just got banned on Twitter) and kept getting an error in TweetDeck about "too many recent login attempts.
When I hid the journa.host link through tinyurl, my tweet went through fine. I'm guessing they added journa.host to their censorship blacklist.

James David Walley@regnad_kcin @juddlegum Judd’s post says only a couple of instances are banned so far, and mine is one of them. Maybe Elmo just hasn’t gotten to yours yet? It lets me leave my unbroken link in my bio, but when I tried to change it, I got that message. Weird. But a half-assed, chaotic roll-out is kind of par for the course with Elmo, so who knows!

And if it doesn't work, try a capital letter (not sure if mastodon is case-sensitive but apparently some of twitter's recent blocks are)

João Tiago Rebelo@stefan @juddlegum the musky bird site is informing users posting links to Mastodon that those links aren't safe. Some get them to tweet. Others are locked. Then, on some of those links, when following them, there's a warning about dangerous activities on Mastodon and to go back to the bird site, that is "safe".

Jayme LaFontaine@juddlegum you can link to it, but it's in a wholly different server/planet/galaxy or whatever they call it from me, and others, so we are logged out and can't follow from the link (or I can't).
Searching your entire @user@server I am able to bring up anyone in any federation and follow them if I search from my masthead.social federation Portal. It is not a simple process, for sure.
