People were saying you can't link to Mastodon, but it works for me. (Perhaps because I'm not on one of the big servers?)

João Tiago Rebelo@stefan @juddlegum the musky bird site is informing users posting links to Mastodon that those links aren't safe. Some get them to tweet. Others are locked. Then, on some of those links, when following them, there's a warning about dangerous activities on Mastodon and to go back to the bird site, that is "safe".

@stefan @juddlegum you're welcome. I bet Post links are next (if not, I have to think Dollar Store Tony Stark is trying to steer people into it). Now I can't even send DM on the musky bird site that contain Mastodon related links...
