What's everyone's favorite Bulge games? Over the holidays I'm going to break out a couple of old favorites (Ardennes '44, Celles) as well as a couple of new (to me) games including Enemy Action: Ardennes and 1944: Battle of the Bulge. Ted Racier's Deadly Woods has me interested too but would need to pick up a copy
@jefe I played Last Blitzkrieg a bunch. Really fun and has a few smaller scenarios if you don’t have the space or time for the full campaign game. I like the Bastogne scenario. Maybe I’ll pull that out and play it given the time of year as well.
@jefe Celles is a favorite, but I haven’t played it in a few years. I’ve been eyeballing the Bulge game by Dan Fournie and Worthington. The reprint should be available soon. It didn’t jump out at me initially, but it’s received many positive reviews and recommendations. I always appreciate something that plays quickly. Do you have any experience with it?
@TEK963 I've got a used copy enroute. I'll let you know what think when I get it to the table
@jefe My favourite Bulge game is Last Blitzkrieg in the BCS series. It is probably one of my favourite all around games as well. A compelling giant campaign game as well as a number of smaller scenarios. Will probably get it back on the table again around Dec 16th.
