Long time gamer and student of history. I enjoy many different games. I lean towards the "series" games like ASL, BCS, OCS, GCACW, etc. because I get the most play for time invested learning. I very much appreciate the content creators that make it easy to stay involved even when life gets in the way. This Mastodon server is my effort to give something back.

First play review: Can a not very Holy, not at all Roman, semi-imperial Empire have fun in a feral era? | Virgin Queen

So, I've played HIS a couple times, and this was my first spin with its sibling, Virgin Queen, played with familiar faces in person here in the Bay Area. Going in, I volunteered to play the Holy Roman Empire, having low expectations but figuring I might get a decent
