I feel for you. I mean, I've been a liberal all my life and even though I live in Europe, I tend to agree with the Democrats on most issues.
However, the Republican Party used to be a valid alternative. Reagan, Bush sr.,and many other Republicans were respectable politicians (not Nixon!).
But what's happening today and has been happening for about 10 years now is an absolute disgrace. I really hope the GOP will rediscover its spine at some point sooner than later!

I agree with that. Seems the owner/manger of a forum utility used by the public should, similarly to a public servant, keep his/her actions as neutral as possible.
In a way, wanting to own and simultaneously politically participate in such a forum seems like a conflict of interest.
