This week, I led a team of Humanity First USA lawyers and volunteers to set up a legal support booth for victims of the devastating LA fires.

Over the course of just a few days, we’ve already served dozens of families. We expect many more to arrive throughout the coming days and weeks for legal support and counsel.

Here is a snapshot of these heart wrenching stories, and how you can help support LA fire victims.

I do try to separate my personal activism—showing up at a demonstration or something—from what I write. I don’t write tracts, I write novels. I’m not a preacher, I’m a fiction writer. I get a lot of moral guidance from reading novels, so I guess I expect my novels to offer some moral guidance, but they’re not blueprints for action, ever.

Please remember that you don't need to read the new Neil Gaiman article.

I'm glad his actions have been so thoroughly documented.

But if you have reason to not read about it? Go right ahead and don't.

@pussreboots @bookstodon You know, it would be kind of fun if there was a tradition of each owner recording their name (and maybe city) in a book.

Well this is heckin' cool! My short solarpunk story, Seven Sisters, has been translated to Spanish in the bilingual magazine Beyond Dimensions (Revista Literaria. Bilingiie. Bimestral. Two Languages. Emerging Writers.)

It has the English version too!

HITTING THE DOCKET:

When the DOJ releases Vol. 1, it intends to release to the public the following: the SC’s transmittal letter, a letter from Trump’s counsel, and a letter from SC in response. These deal with Vol. 2 of the Final Report.

I've written a few books under the name of Endicott Road. You'll find them in the Amazon Kindle section. I hope you find one or two worthy of your collection.

I have never really used @pixelfed before but I had a dormant account: @amdim

I grabbed the TestFlight app and followed this account.

And it worked perfectly. A totally plausible Instagram replacement that grabbed and rendered all of the images I’ve publicly posted from this account.

I might have to suggest this to others who are looking to flee Meta...
