A composer of film scores who worked in French cinema during the 1930s.
He arrived at Auschwitz on 10 December 1943 in transport no. 64 from German-ocupied France & was murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
He was 56.

Your posts: They remind us what we're all capable of. They remind us of the unspeakable cruelty we can inflict. They remind us we MUST NEVER forget or allow it to happen again.
Then we see the individual. We see the person, the life that should have been. We see someone who could have been me or you.
We must be on our guard always. We must see everyone who suffered & perished. We must keep them in our hearts and minds.
