Controversy has swirled around Sebastian Gorka, one of President Trump's top counterterrorism advisers, ever since he attended the president's Jan. 20 inaugural ball wearing the honorary medal of Hungarian nationalist organization Vitezi Rend. NBC News traveled to Hungary to dig deeper into Gorka's ties with the group, speaking with members of the organization as well as with locals who knew him when he lived there.

My hypothesis about why #Kavanaugh was nominated:
The twice-impeached racist misogynist fascist idiot mobster saw the public respect for the Supreme Court was much higher than respect for him.
He was jealous, but couldn't do anything about his poll numbers.
He had minions search for a judge with a terrible ethics record who would be satisfactory to Republican Senators.
They found a guy with 80 open ethics investigations who was also a young right wing extremist.

When Kavanaugh reached confirmation hearings, the ethics investigations soon immediately forgotten because of the sexual assault accusations and history of alcohol abuse.
Any other president would have immediately withdrawn the nomination. But for the narcissistic game show host, the accusations were the jackpot: someone who could drag down the reputation of the Supreme Court even lower the Clarence Thomas had.
Of course he fought with all he had.
