Currently Elon has given behind the scenes Twitter user data access to anti-LGBTQ bigots and made promises of protection to a woman actively trying to murder trans people.

The site simply is not safe for LGBTQ people to be on at all and this isn't a problem that's ever going to be rectified -- it can only get worse because it is the desire of the new owner.

As such I've deleted all my content on Twitter, parked my account, and will no longer be used the site.

How are BARI WEISS and MATT TAIBBI the journalists to "analyse twitter files", two people who struggle to analyse the letters in the word "competence"? And if that wasn't outrageous enough just think of the great pleasure it was to see actual journaliats on twitter doing actual analysis. if my heart could still feel something for this clusterf**** it would break again.

@konosocio They also admit that they "agreed to undisclosed terms to report this story." Until we hear otherwise we have to assume they're being paid by Elon to prove and create validation for a biased preconceived premise.

@ashleylynch So many people seem to be in the "I will FIGHT for this platform!" camp... but there's nothing left to fight for; they bought the right to change the rules. It's Heads They Win; Tails We Lose, now, and they have no intention otherwise.
The only winning move here is not to play, cliche as that is. Accept that Twitter is now 4chan, and move on.

@ashleylynch yup. Iโ€™d kinda backed off as the place was going slowly to hell trying to appease a noisy minority and they never ending GC TERF wars. Elon was really the last straw, I hope his hell scape brings nothing but legal woes and lots of sunlight. If anyones reputation is undeserved, itโ€™s his.
