My favorite part of this is the straight-faced assertion: “What is going on? The problem is not quality.”

Two outside-the-box ideas leap to mind:

1) Make a movie people want to go see

2) Use marketing to show people why they’d want to go see it

The Fabelmans trailers I’ve seen lean heavily on dreamy movieness and movie dreaminess. I don’t remember a single line of dialogue.

*Come see Spielberg’s autobiography.* You mean the guy who gave us Ready Player One? Tintin? Shia LaBeouf as Muff Wilmington, or whatever his name was?

Why is no one paying $18 to see Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths?

@ericjetblack Thought about seeing The Fablemans, because at least it's not superheroes.
But ended up going to an anime movie instead, sorry. https://www.thequintessentialquintuplets-movie.com/home/
