Only 18 minutes today. I’d hoped for more.
The crew grows weary. They’ve sent Hudson to see me. I’ve barricaded the cabin door.
In a moment, I’ll press play, then smash the remote.
They’ll see. They’ll all see.
On #climate doomers and how these pessimists can be just as damaging as #ClimateChange denialists.
And that one can be heartbroken yet hopeful. I admit that sometimes I can feel defeatist, but that doesn’t mean I just throw my hands up and give up. “Pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will.”

We box everything back up, of course.
Most of the buildings are inflatable, and just need to be deflated, hosed off, and put away. The cars are an old theatre trick, which we can’t reveal. As for the palm trees, we’ll list them on eBay and then order new ones when it’s time to come back.
