We have to check in the past why society at large has decided - unaware that this virus won't eventually distinguish between bodies and that they will damage them regardless the biased scale of health in the mental social landscape - to let this biohazard rip. Eugenics at all levels has converged.
The problem is, everyone infected will, sooner or later, become compromised, no matter their health background. This virus is systemic and immune-depleting.

I suspect that it is like HIV in that progression will be variable, but everyone will wind up with cardiovascular disease, cancer, or dementia eventually. Expect to grow older faster.

I keep referring to 1983 movie The Hunger & #Bowie ages a bit more rapidly than what #sarscov2 #Covid does #irl but it’s not that much of an exaggeration

Can’t recall exact # but each infection ages organs 3-?6 years
Being optimist let’s go on the low end. Many are on their 5th infection in last year. Biologically aging internally 15 years per year…

I know a 29 yr old whose health probs make her 50-55 definitively

Actually just had something click It’s been bothering me since July
Everyone still looks fine on the exterior b/c skin ages over decades
Usually skin is an indicator of age, but organs normally take decades to degrade

Once you lose your kidney function,those blood vessels are dead & never coming back Everyone’s insides are aging but the skin…false facade & that’s what people see

@noyes @xabitron1 dementia terrifies me. I saw someone progress thru it. He wasn’t even old. Late 50s when first signs showed up. An aside. Due to age perhaps? He had trouble getting a diagnosis. 3rd doc nailed it, MRI confirmed it. Early onset PPA not something I want to experience terrifying.
