There's a host of sites offering free book titles--particularly banned books--in .pdf formatting for PCs, Kindle and other e-readers.

These right-wing activists draw more attention to a title by protesting it, which makes a given book all the more interesting.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but BPL no longer offers library cards to anyone outside the state of New York. 🙁
Oh, well that sucks.
@juddlegum here in Oklahoma we have law makers with bills ready to put a movie/TV style rating system on books in school libraries.
