There's a host of sites offering free book titles--particularly banned books--in .pdf formatting for PCs, Kindle and other e-readers.

The Brooklyn Public Library also offers to teens nationwide electronic library cards to check out banned books. https://tinyl.io/7U8R [I learned this evening this service is no longer available.]

These right-wing activists draw more attention to a title by protesting it, which makes a given book all the more interesting.

@SharonGibson3 @juddlegum I'm sorry to say that's no longer the case regarding BPL. Looks like they stopped issuing out of state library cards as of July 15, 2022
