Mastodon
@JankariTech @delta i love this tool, even if really hard to motivate people to use it...
@frankiezafe @JankariTech curious -- do you think it would be easier to motivate if there was something like an "automatic acocunt" that people could start with by a click? One well-known issue in a group of friends/people is that there is always at least one person not able to setup their e-mail address (because they forgot the password or other issues) and then whole onboarding fails.
@delta @JankariTech @frankiezafe It seems to be more that people don't feel they have a reason to leave what they're currently on. Even with systems that use phonenumbers for a super simple onboarding it's hard to convince people.
@coldhotman @JankariTech @frankiezafe yes ok -- if someone feels there is no good enough reason to leave it's hard to suggest alternatives.
@delta @JankariTech @frankiezafe But that doesn't mean that the option to instantly create and auto-configure an account isn't a great addition. I think a lot of people who doesn't know how e-mail works beyond webmail will appreciate it.

I only wonder if everybody would start using it simply because it's easier than setting up their own, already existing accounts. 😁
@coldhotman @delta @JankariTech
@judeswae do you have an advice/remark/comment about functionalities in deltachat?
@frankiezafe Nope. I mainly use it to play chess with you. That's good enough ;) @coldhotman @delta @JankariTech
@judeswae @frankiezafe @coldhotman @delta
So what is the layer 8 chess over delta-chat protocol?
Webxdc: mini apps shared in a chat

Secure mini apps for chats. No internet access, no tracking, no servers.

@judeswae @frankiezafe @coldhotman @delta
Is this an extension for delta-chat?
@JankariTech @judeswae @coldhotman @delta nope, it's just app-in-app :) - you copy/paste it in a message and it opens a window with the game in it
