@ruud I don’t have an opinion but thank you for your work! I contribute to your Patreon as everyone should.
@ruud start using Gemini, less hassle and more writing!
@freezr I am a Gemini .. 🙂 I'll check it
@ruud digged last weekend a bit into pelican, and like it. Probably something to put on the radar as well.
@ruud in case you want to have a look at it, you'll find Infos there: https://getpelican.com/
Pelican – A Python Static Site Generator

Pelican static site generator

@ruud If you find a way to post between Ghost and Mastadon it would be great if you could let me know!
@ruud I can really recommend Hugo (https://gohugo.io/)! I'm using it for all my websites and haven't found one thing it can't do until now :)
The world's fastest framework for building websites

Hugo is one of the most popular open-source static site generators. With its amazing speed and flexibility, Hugo makes building websites fun again.

@ruud Does boosting the poll help direct responses to you? I would choose one but I don't know enough about blogging software.
@ruud @antzee I’m a fan of Hugo (https://gohugo.io/) as it’s very fast and generates a static site that can be deployed anywhere.

@ruud I've been very happy with #Hugo for my own blog!
@ruud WriteFreely or WordPress, for the fediverse integration.
@ruud sorry, no clue -- but what a service to the community! Many thanks!
@ruud I've been using WordPress for a long time to self host my blog, and recommend it. If you keep it standard, maintenance is basically no work.
Standard doesn't mean it all looks the same. There are plenty of ways to customize without writing a line of code.
@ruud I guess it really depends on your temperament. Do you like a WYSIWYG editor running on a server somewhere, or do you like an update to literally be an ftp upload?
@ruud da kann ich als Neuling gar nichts darauf antworten, denn das eine ist mir so fremd wie das andere.
Ich such momentan ein tutorial video, wie ich überhaupt Madtodon richtig nutze. 😊
@ruud
My experience is with Blogger, which I like. I've also used WordPress.
@ruud Hugo looks good!
I'm partial to Go for performance reasons
