Our box is more tape than cardboard, but itβs still hanging in there!!
I then tape the box.

Our box for our tree had many rings of tape before it was unviable and we got a canvas bag for it.
Not sure how that fits with the analogy.
Petrified/ fossilised tree maybe?

(My motherβs tree β the one I grew up with β has been in her possession for almost 50 years now. And it was originally bought second hand.)
