I'll always be a park ranger first. 30 years of conservation-related work experience including non-profit, state, and federal roles. In my current position, I am responsible for caring for the amazing waters and lands of the Kennebec Highlands region of central Maine.

Greetings from the Highlands of central Maine

Good Morning!

Have a safe and wonderful day!

We are 56 seconds wealthier in daylight today here in Maine. Use it wisely, use it for good!

Sometimes you need to leave behind the fieldwork, the conservation planning, and the day-to-day.....and simply let the music play.

"One watch by night, one watch by day

If you get confused just listen to the music play"

Wishing all a safe and wonderful 2023!

P.S. We have gained 0.35 seconds since December 21. It feels so good! 😎 🌞

When river and lake waters freeze in the north, it changes the entire look of environment. You just want to keep looking at this magnificence and endless attractiveness. The supreme parent (nature) has a plenty to offer and you feel fulfilled with just a little of that bounty.🧑
