So ... I've got my own informal tool for sussing out Mastodon / the Fediverse's growth. It's a uapologetically sneaky thing I wrote a few years back.

As of a day or so ago it stood at ~400 boosts and ~500 faves. It's now at 1k and 1.25k respectively.

I'd boosted it a few times since first posting it, including after earlier phases of Mastodon growth. This seems to have been the most substantial yet.

And/or compatible with my sense of humour.
