@jai_oh Oh wow! Thanks for letting me know about @chad report about server costs! Most people do not realize the operating costs of running a server, & I do think people should contribute at least $1 towards upkeep (that alone would pay to keep servers online).
As far as moderation goes, I think what many communities need are “Watchers” who actively watch for trolls & spam. They can work with moderators to help keep large communities safe.
