We've had some great times, and I'm planning to support it here too this year.

@bps_artish I've done the #JoinIn for the past few years, I do go elsewhere for Xmas, but I've gotten some good online folks from that hashtag.

I asked Sarah Millican is she was moving from the #DeadBird site but unsurprisingly no reply. I guess my timing was off, or too many in her feed to respond to.

@bps_artish I love #JoinIn. I'm lucky enough to have my Dad, but I like to dip in and out during the Christmas week and see what's what. After Christmas I'll be making the jump to Mastodon completely.

I think Sarah will probably set up here at some point. 😊

@hicoo @Gaina_Cee I am too, people I consider friends now. People I never knew until we all took part in this. And a few shy people we dragged into the conversations that told me later how much it meant to them that someone bothered. Small things, easy things, we just have to care.

@bps_artish @Gaina_Cee Absolutely, online friends are still friends, and I've had some great conversations on the #JoinIn thread. Someone who is a gardener, grew #Sunflowers through the spring and named each after the people he spoke to. The photos were great and we all connected over it.

I hope Sarah M comes on over too.
