Today I got my first loading shot of Nebido 🥳 Four years of wildly fluctuating Testosterone levels were doing my head in. I'd go anywhere from 8.5 nmol/L - 38.0 nmol/L. No rhyme or reason for it.
Fingers crossed this works better for me than the Gel. It'll be, roughly, four injections a year (every 12 weeks), instead of daily gel application, so it would make my life a lot easier, if the Nebido suits me. It really would be nice to feel hormonally settled 😊

I have to continue with the Gel for 10 days and then that's it. It will be really weird not having to do it every day.....it's been such a big part of my daily routine. I won't miss the 'forever' time it used to take to dry, though.......even with using a hairdryer, lol! x

@JulianFrancis 🤞as it sounds less hassle for a start lol - Do you think you'll have trouble remembering its been 12 weeks though? And are these self administered jabs or do you have to take your prescription with you and get someone to stab you at the drs? x

I've put all the dates 4 the next 6 months in my diary. Unfortunately, I can't book them any sooner than 4 weeks out, so I have dates for when to phone & book them, lol! The Nurse administers it & I have 2 order & take the Nebido with me. I'd have 2 b a contortionist to jab myself, ha ha ha x

Lol! Today I've managed to book my next jab for January the 5th. I'll put in a request for the Nebido in a couple of weeks to make sure I get it before Christmas so I have it ready for my appointment. Getting meds over the Christmas break can be tricky. Some of mine are due on the 27th of December, so I'll see if they will do those b4 Xmas too, but it's unlikely as it's a strict monthly protocol. We'll see x

@JulianFrancis You 'might' be lucky getting them earlier because the 27th is a bank holiday! (Maybe if you explain that you're away or something) Or at least get them ordered so the script is ready at the local pharmacy for the 28th 😕
Well done on getting the January slot already! Are the pharmacy you use aware you're due to take it - reason I ask is as to if they need a heads up to start stocking it especially this time of year getting in supplies in time! x
