My current plan is to ditch linkedin in the next year or so and have my professional portfolio and official contact method be a self hosted website + email server, it really stopped being useful after my third position when companies started seeking me out specifically

@panegyr @Imlordofthering I've seen a lot of static pages built on Hugo that I definitely want to create. Would love to make that my "business card" of sorts.

I'm still not quite ready to give up on my LinkedIn yet, but I like your energy on that though. Hopefully one day I can get to that point ​
