Very much looking forward to progress with my next #LED project this weekend.

I have a 16x16 addressable LED matrix, a D1 ESP, a #homeassistant instance and a #3dprinter and I'm not afraid to use them!

Intent is to have icon based #notifications and simple text displayed on the matrix. Have been exploring #wled but it looks like #pixelit might be the answer.

I may have to rethink this plan, 16x6 matrix not supported on PixelIt, limited matrix support in WLED. #esphome next to explore

Update, in the end I added an #8x32 #led matrix under the geoleaf project to show #homeassistant data. #pixelit software on the #minid1, #nodered for control. V pleased.

Will find alternative use for the #32x32

Ps it's also too cold outside!

@martijn_vdijk hi, Amazon, BTF-lighting and they do a variety of sizes. I 3d printed the case and diffuser (which was a lot easier than cutting the acrylic for the geoleaf!).
