Was lucky enough to finally realise my childhood dream and see the Northern Lights dancing in the night sky in the ice lagoon during my winter road trip around Iceland. There's never a guarantee you will see them as they're so unpredictable and the sky must be as dark as possible. This is a long exposure and caught a shooting star in the frame as well.

@RathRaithleann wonderful I saw them about 5 years back about an hour out of Reykjavik. Your photo is stunning! I hope you had a tripod so your hands didn’t freeze. My friend who took my photo stood there for 5 minutes taking the photo.. surprised his hands didn’t fall off! What a lovely friend!
