Three days before Christmas a few years ago.

A ten minute walk from my home, there were no cars on the roads, like mine they were probably all stuck in the snow!

Just one of those perfect, pastel, frosty winter days. Silence and a sense of time frozen like the landscape.

The balance between the trees and the sheep in the composition was magical serendipity.

The small patch of land you can see on the far right horizon is the coast of Ynys Môn at Llanddwyn. This field is only metres from the sea. The beach was frozen and snow covered too.

@richardoutram that's gorgeous. I live down in Bournemouth these days, and rarely see snow, but I do remember that year we had some, and people were stuck leaving their cars on the side of the road - chaos everywhere, and it didn't look as nice as that, hah!
