@auschwitzmuseum Thank you for sharing this.
@auschwitzmuseum “Because prejudice is the root of a lot of the evil in this world”. Somehow, we learn prejudice and lose empathy through life. We have become intolerant of differences, in appearance, in gender, in sexual orientation, in religious belief, in capability and ability, in health, in social economic status, in so many things. I am not sure what we fear. After all, “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering”

Nobody...but we just prefer don't remember🥹🥹

@auschwitzmuseum Very sad news. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

@auschwitzmuseum having lived a long and full filled life was a great answer to what the Nazis tried to do to her.

May the earth be light to you, Hédi Fried.

@auschwitzmuseum May her memory be a blessing 🙏

Godspeed, fellow Hédi 🙌

@auschwitzmuseum

@auschwitzmuseum as I read about Hédi and contemplate, I am moved by the fact that some day all of the contemporary witnesses of Nazi Germany's horrors will have passed on
@auschwitzmuseum her sane voice will be missed. This fragile little woman who was like a roaring lioness. ❤️💔
