@MariekeHardy we can do it, most of us are here and the few clunky aspects of the platform should be ironed out in time. I like the way it’s a cluster of homespun servers, makes me think it’ll never go the way of the big commercial platforms.

After two weeks on #Mastodon I feel refreshed and revitalised.

My toots are calmer and less shouty. I toot across a broader range of topics and I follow a much more diverse range of people.

I still have angry topics but I'm now passionate as opposed to militant.
