but i advice to set up the #crossposter that ye are posting on #mastodon first and sending then a copy to #twitter..
as a lot of folks here have filtered everything which comes in from Twitter... for further tips i can recommend the websites of

You may eventually want to host your own instance, as a way of self verifying as there isnt a blue tick way of doing that here,

Remember, if you want an interesting timeline you need to follow people and boost (retweet) posts you like. There's no secret algorithm filling up your screen with stuff it thinks you'll like, it's down to the people you follow and what they boost.
It's also important to try and use CW (content warnings) on anything that may trigger others. Politics, economy, angry posts, food pics, etc.
