Remember, if you want an interesting timeline you need to follow people and boost (retweet) posts you like. There's no secret algorithm filling up your screen with stuff it thinks you'll like, it's down to the people you follow and what they boost.
It's also important to try and use CW (content warnings) on anything that may trigger others. Politics, economy, angry posts, food pics, etc.
