@Sheril
Nice video. I figured out a while ago that thinking about sugar like a recreational drug was a useful construct for me. A little bit makes me feel good, and that’s ok despite its negative nutritional value. But too much leads to feeling bad and bad health outcomes.
@Sheril
Almond flour brownies with coconut whipcream
@Sheril I love marshmallows so much, I told my kids to stuff marshmallow fluff in my mouth when I died. (I’m diabetic, so I can’t eat it anymore.)
@Sheril gummi bears. But I’ve tricked the insolent brat that is my tongue with dehydrated red plums and asian pears. That tart and sweet chewiness…
@Sy @Sheril while more expensive, I love sugar free gummies. All the candy I eat is SF, as I am DM2.
@Sheril rice, oil, salt. Nuts. Carrots. Apples. Tiny cooked potatoes. Cherry Tomatoes. Does any of this count?
@Sheril I am a big fan of GORP, a.k.a. Trail Mix. When I don’t need my snack to be portable though, I must say nothing satisfies like Chips and Salsa. Bueno!!
@Sheril Fats are good, sugar is the main culprit in all of our illnesses
@Sheril I hate all kinds of Junk food. Love to eat Simple Home Cooked Food. No Alcoholic drinks too. Not addicted to Tea or Coffee too! At ease with myself!👍😊

@Sheril Yeah junk food messes with our monkey wiring same as junk media, junk views of public figures & McNugget Social media....

OMG it's 3:00pm & I've done nothing else!

@Sheril it’s called “mouth feel.”
