The Indian pop-up party spirit is alive and well here in #LA, too, where I live. I have been to more than a few shindigs put on by great Indian hosts. Thanks @shail , for helping me to park a little bit of my cynicism at the door for a bit.

I went to #India when I was 18 yo, in the era Desai, wildcat strikes, noise, food, crowds, fright, fun, everything my teenage mind could and couldn't absorb.

I and a few others were passing thru in a lorry on the #HippieTrail to #Katmandu from London. ;-)
