@Belghast Deathloop is also pretty great. Almost put that on the list, but Dishonored is kind of the OG and I've played it through a bunch of times. Great story and fantastic world building.
@zaxusemk a really dumb thing killed deathloop for me... the lack of save. When it first came out I tried to play through a mission three times but kept getting interrupted and needing to walk away only to have to start all over.
What I saw of it looked interesting.
@Belghast Yeah, that is a bit of a pain. You definitely have to know you have a bit of time to play it. But the fact that each map is actually different at different times of day makes it really engaging to play. That and kicking people off cliffs if endlessly hilarious. 😛

@denebeim it really is a wildly different experience today than the game that launched last year. You owe it to yourself to reinstall and check it out with a fresh character

@Belghast well I played with it a bit. Not much change although the play seemed a bit better, not that I can recall it. It was pretty much exactly a year ago that I played it.
@denebeim ah okay then. Mostly they redid the starter experience, made travel dirt cheap, fixed crafting leveling, made storage free to withdraw from every town and not dependent on who is holding the territory. Significant quality of life improvements but if you did not enjoy the mechanical loop already probably not enough.
@Belghast well good. Those were about the most annoying bits. It's like those were intentional to make the game super grindy

@Belghast I wish so too, but the original Studio Liverpool was shut down by Sony and then splintered into different studios, Firesprite and Playrise.
The former was acquired by Sony last year after they released 'The Playroom' and 'The Persistance' as well as working with other studios.
The latter released mobile/PSVita games.
@Belghast Unfortunately, wipEout got a new game earlier this year... a mobile gacha game.
