I tried Dead as Disco. The story mission teasers were fine, but the infinite mode doesn’t pose much of a challenge. The main input from music is the BPM, and even that’s static across the runtime of the track. So you don’t get the tempo rampup like you get in One Finger Death Punch, and you don’t get the intensity changes like in Beat Hazard either.
The beat matching is very forgiving, unlike in Crypt of the Necrodancer, which will ignore input and eventually fail you if you can’t keep pace.
I'm a fan of stealth games, but one variant has so far eluded me: Picture safari games. On paper, they have many things in common with the more common cutthroat stealth games: You have to avoid not only your target's attention, but also everyone else in the environment. While you can snipe, the best shots are up close and personal.
However, I'm not sure whether there's any game out there that also simulates the ecosystem; To get the shot you want, you'd also need to know the target's behavior.
