Miles Orchard

Now that #BBCWales HQ's have fully moved from #Llandaf to Central Square in #Cardiff one of the things I used to love doing was walking up to the #village at lunchtime and spending time at Llandaf #Cathedral it's an incredible place to just think and people watch! (most recently King Charles!)

Just happened to be walking back to work when Isaw this shot through the wall and had to take the shot!

@milesorchard I went to school in Llandaff and still live in Danescourt.

In the VIth form, when we were allowed out of school at lunchtime, I loved to go to the village.

At the time (1972-75), the Summer Palace was a tuck shop selling cream buns as well as sweets 😋

@milesorchard So pretty! I’ve always wanted to visit Wales. Was in England last month to walk the Ridgeway trail, and visited many churches in the countryside. So lovely that you get to see such beauty on your lunchtime walks.
