The Milky Way arch over Namibia’s Quiver Tree forest - when it’s really dark, you see more than darkness. #milkyway #photography #astrophoto #astrophotography #fotografie #travelblog #namibia
@djflore awe inspiring… images like this render me speechless. It’s the same with Aurora Borealis, I’m reduced to an awe-inspired emotional mess.
@IntuitiveCounsellor yap, can relate to that. The first time I saw the Milky Way 🤯
@djflore I saw the Milky Way like this outback in the desert; it was truly awe-inspiring
@IntuitiveCounsellor can imagine - it’s sad that many people won’t get to experience this.
@djflore what I saw was phenomenal; it was as though the night sky was a dark velvety fabric emblazoned with a million stars. The milky way arched across the velvety sky ... there was NO light pollution, no Noise pollution ... just myself and 2 kids on a school holiday road trip outback. We camped in the desert under the milky way. Priceless
@IntuitiveCounsellor sounds incredible. It’s very humbling… glad you got to experience that.
@djflore I went to Iceland in the hope of seeing the Northern Light, however, wasn't lucky. I aim to travel to Finnish and Swedish Lapland, Norway's arctic circle, during winter. I am obsessed with the arctic circle
@IntuitiveCounsellor I’m actually in Norway now and Finland next week. Maybe can get something 😊
@djflore I eagerly await your captures … I’ll live vicariously
