Being at an institution with a high teaching load I am thinking about how to incorporate my research into the classroom.

Anyone have success in bringing questions into the classroom?

Is it assigned as extra credit or do you plan projects where students run an experiment? I assume a lot of upfront effort to get data setup for them?
