@AngryBlackLady I'm on a different server than you -- I have the option of either copy/pasting a photo or hitting the paper clip underneath the text part of a post to add a photo/video/GIF to!

@LeahLitman @AngryBlackLady It also seems to widely vary depending on which app you’re using. I started with the iphone Mastodon app and found it lacking a lot of features. So I switched to Metatext. But even that isn’t as complete as using the standard web browser UI on my PC. Yeah, it’s really tough to figure this out quickly. (Also I’m not sure which quirks are permanent and which are due to the server being overburdened from the high influx of users). #MigrationProblems

I think it will get smoothed out but it could take a bit time? I was having no issues posting photos earlier but have been issues since yesterday as well. So - going to sit tight for now. Hoping it will all smooth out. Thanks for being here!

@LeahLitman I will never forget describing this to my Vietnamese teacher - in Vietnamese! - the following Monday, correctly predicting that she would say, “Are you sure that’s what you meant to say?“ more than once. I loved replying, “Yes, I absolutely intended to say ‘crematorium’ and ‘sex shop’” 😂 We’ve had some great laughs over the vocubalary TFG forced me to learn so I could describe what was happening here.
