We’re fighting slimes atm. They’re slimes, trap us and spit acid. They have a king. Every time we attack the pudding king, another slime ‘comes to life’ and attacks us. Will we survive? Who knows? My HP is 2/3s of max and we have well over 15 enemies. This should be fun! #DnD #DungeonsAndDragons

Prof Maz Hardey 🌳@minimammoth as Mage I adopted (what I thought) were quirky & eccentric hand movements in casting spells, & yet I managed to knock the board more than once… All hail Barbarian.
@TheProfMaz love this. Because I always used to fidget with my dice (back when we did DnD in person), I made it a character trait that my character had dice he fidgeted with… the dice ended on the floor so often my DM asked to strike the character trait 😂

@Homebrewandhacking Path of the Zealot. At level 6 you get fanatical focus which allows you to reroll saving throws while you’re raging, but you have to take the second roll.

@Homebrewandhacking I’m enjoying playing one but it does feel like one of the less versatile classes. Even in combat, all I do is bonk people, even if the bonking hurts them pretty bad.
@minimammoth they're very DPR focused. I try and find joy in the reckless abandon of reckless attack and being the centre of the enemies attention as a result.
When and where you go sets the tempo and focus of the battle so its less tactics more strategy.
@Homebrewandhacking you make a great point and something I’m only starting to realise (this is my first barbarian). It’s incredibly fun to be the focus of the enemy and let your friends sneak past 😃
@minimammoth yes! I was a Druid in 13th Age and you could mix wild shapes.
Owlbear-Tiger for maximum fluffy murder shadow was pretty fun!
@Homebrewandhacking ahhhhh I love this! Before my Barbarian I had a Druid with Wildshape who died in the Out of the Abyss campaign and she was awesome! She could wildshape into a rocktopus (I’m sorry she died, she went mad and attacked a Demogorgon 😅)
