Our family used mail-in ballots several weeks ago, but this morning I check to ensure my ballot was delivered (and counted). Everyone should do the same. #Vote https://www.vote.org/ballot-tracker-tools/
@markhertling we have a great mail-in system in WA. I checked mine too—accepted!
@wood @markhertling VT too. All voted ,no lines no hassle just mail it in !

@markhertling On the same topic, if people haven't returned a ballot by mail, requirements for arrival by Election Day vary by State. The same is true of rules for hand delivery/in person drop off.

Check your Secretary of State's election page for relevant guidance and instructions!

NASS offers an alphabetical list by State of links to Secretary of State pages here -> https://www.nass.org/initiatives/trustedinfo

And the NASS CanIVote.org page has English and Spanish language info on topics in the screencap

@thatmags @markhertling Try Voterizer.org. We've amassed all the SOS info in one place. Just enter your state and it should have absentee deadlines in the text at the bottom under important information.
@markhertling I'm in Washington state and so far we've been able to have solid elections thanks to stalwart Dems holding back the orc hordes. Sucks to always be one election away from losing it all though.

@markhertling

I mailed my ballet (in Virginia) over three weeks ago, and I received text notification to weeks ago from the Fairfax County Office of Elections that my vote has been counted.

Couldn't be easier, Sir.

@markhertling my family went this route last election, my mothers ballot was damaged to the point she had to vote again.
@markhertling Same here, I checked on the Oregon my vote page. Ready to go!
@markhertling I did too... twice. 😆 I also live in FL and it doesn't hurt to make extra sure it counted.
@markhertling - in my county in California, I get text message verifications that my ballot was received by the post office, and then the registrar and counted. It's amazing. It should be this easy everywhere. #HR1 #VotingRightsAct #MailInBallots #VoteByMail #Vote Blue
@markhertling I requested a mail in ballot, but it never arrived.... so I have to go vote in person.
@markhertling great to see you here, Sir! I hope it all goes well with the elections, warm greetings from Amsterdam😃✌️
@markhertling one good thing about living in Florida, General 😊
@markhertling top tip, thanks... Going to check that my ballot baby arrived safely.
@markhertling yes I had issues early on here in Florida. I was so worried it was going to get "lost" in the USPS I had it tracked! I have zero confidence in the #USPS since Dejoy has been appointed!
@markhertling Thank you for posting this! I needed to be sure my college son's absentee ballot had made it into the county, and your link was just what I needed! Much obliged!
@markhertling in our county, they send text messages when received and counted. It’s great and the best way to vote.
@markhertling Here in CO, I get a text when the ballot is received and when it's counted. Convenient!
@markhertling agree. It’s important to exercise this right, and with violence and threats of such happening all around, it’s a valuable alternative.
@markhertling In Maryland they email you to confirm that your vote has been received and will be counted. End to end accountability.
@markhertling Yes..Absolutely. Ditto!
@markhertling Did mine from OZ (US overseas citizen) Sept and was counted
@markhertling Surprisingly, in my county in GA, we are both texted and called that our ballots have been received and that our votes will count
@markhertling lucklily mine has been counted since we are gonna need every blue vote here in FL!
@markhertling Oklahoma no-excuse absentee voter checking in. Voter portal indicates ballot received.
@markhertling @FeedingTubePaul my county has a system you sign up for which sends you an email and/or text it was received. This should be adopted everywhere. All states should just switch over to mail in voting as well.
@markhertling Here in Los Angeles they text to say you'll be receiving the ballot and what to do if you don't receive it, then, after you've submitted it, that they have it.
@markhertling California sends one automatically if you sign up.
@markhertling Just wanted to share that in my county in Florida, they are allowed to process and tabulate mail-in ballots prior to Election Day, but they do not change the online status from Received to Counted until after the Polls close. I just verified this by phone with my Supervisor of Elections Office. They kindly pulled me up in the system and verified my ballot has been tabulated, and explained that my online status will not change online until after 7pm Eastern on Nov 8th. Cheers!
@markhertling we used our local dropbox and I was half expecting (hoping?) to encounter a bunch of armed clowns with their 30 year old video cameras.
@markhertling Here in Oregon, we vote by mail too. We have something called vote tracker and it sends me a text and lets me know the status. I had to sign up for it though.
@markhertling Especially if you are a resident of PA. They are throwing out mail-in ballots if the dates are missing or wrong.
@markhertling thanks, great advice and the link was helpful. Took only a few minutes to check and get peace of mind that my votes were counted.
@markhertling I checked mines was counted
@markhertling volunteers are needed to cure ballots in PA. There are 3,500 that require volunteers to call each person so the ballots can be counted. It’s time sensitive so if you read this please consider volunteering. Off course I don’t have the link
@markhertling does it say who you voted for?
@markhertling Done and checked my mother’s, too (with her, of course).
@markhertling Thank you. Just confirmed our mail-in-ballots were received. Of course, we had dropped them at the ballot box at the courthouse. Still, good to confirm. #VoteBlue
