10 quick Mastodon tips

There has recently been a huge rush of people trying out Mastodon. This is also noticeable in the number of people reading my earlier Mastodon Guide. I wanted to take this opportunity to provide a brief list of usage tips that I wish I had at hand when first setting

@klillington thank you. ⬇️ is a gem of a function: so often wished for it.
@klillington great advice especially “One deliberate design choice on mastodon is that there is no analog of “quote retweeting”: you can either boost someone else’s toot and you can post your own. You can’t share someone else’s post to your own followers with your commentary added.” So the only way you can give people a flavour of a post/ article is to reply (like this). 😊
