š£ Great news from the National Trust AGM - the results are in and Restore Trust have:
ā failed in their two resolutions to appoint an āombudsmanā and prevent the Chairmanās discretionary proxy vote
ā failed to have their candidates appointed in the Council Elections
You can read the report here - but it looks as if all of the National Trust Nomination Committeeās recommended candidates *and* the Trusteesā recommended positions on the membersā resolutions have carried

Worth observing just how close the National Trust AGM vote was - some of the Restore Trust candidates had some 40,000 votes to the National Trust nomineesā c.70,000
