I personally like qoto.org (robust server and very active), fediscience.com (verified published scientists), and mathstodon.xyz (all manner of math nerds).
Karl Auerbach@nbatalha - I'm also here in Santa Cruz. I'm have nothing to do with astronomy or physics (I'm a computer networking type) but I know people who you probably work with at UCSC and who have mentioned astrobiology. I just listened with my jaw kinda of hanging open in wonder.
